The Future is Now book cover - BCA's president and CEO retired in two thousand eighteen after 15 years of leadership. As I write this, a new CEO has not yet been selected, but there is hope for a fresh and successful new period of advocacy.

Time and Again book cover - BCA felt like they took some unfair shots and criticisms from the press in two thousand seventeen for a bill they opposed that required autism therapy to be covered by a segment of businesses. Their argument was that they had a long standing policy to oppose all health mandates regardless of the target or the treatment. This cover was nod to that battle.

Unfinished Business book cover - Two thousand sixteen had been a year in which BCA felt they left some important goals unfinished due to some members of the legislature and the executive branch putting up road blocks.

The Next New Start book cover - Two thousand fifteen's book took most of it's narrative from it being the first year in legislative quadrennium. Everyone was optimistic and this cover was a celebration of Alabama and the political process.

BCA Press logo - Since BCA self-published it's books, we decided to create a dedicated logo for the book spines.

BCA book spread - A spread from Time and Again

IT'S IN A BOOK.

BCA'S ANNUAL YEAR IN REVIEW BOOKS

Every year following the Alabama legislative session, BCA compiles it's communications and writes a summary of what took place and what was accomplished that year. These books were mostly used as recruitment and retainment tools.

THE DIRECTIVE

"I want a book. I want it to look and feel like any other book from the book store."

Package all of the BCA communications and yearly summary in a book that looks and feels valuable.
